Features:

This section of a kelp forest is known as goal posts as it sits offshore directly ´┐Żbetween the uprights´┐Ż, two radio antennae ashore atop the ridge. The bottom lies about 50 feet beneath the surface with many small reefs rising from the bottom. These small reefs create many arches, mini-walls, overhangs, and small tunnels. Nearly all the reefs are covered with sponges and host a wide variety of marine life ranging from shrimp and lobster in the reefs to bass in the surrounding kelp forest. This area also has a large and very colorful sea star population. As the summer approaches, the kelp will thicken making this a truly spectacular dive.
