Adolphus Busch
The Adolphus Busch was intentionally sunk in 1998 to create an artificial reef system. She sits intact and upright in 100-feet of water.

Sombrero Reef

Thunderbolt
This 188-foot military ship is the jewel of the Marathon wreck fleet. Sunk intentionally as a dive attraction in March 1986, she now sits perfectly upright in 115 feet of water offering 45 feet of relief.

Get GPS FROM info sheets available at dive shops in marathon or map. There was 2 -3 knts east current and vis was at least 50ft on the wreck.
Huge goliath grouper and Nausau. Also amberjack and cuda swimming above the wreck from 50 - 90 ft.

I have dove this wreck over 200 times. It is never the same. Recently, the four F@#k ups of Marathon Diving (Keith, Kai, Mike & I) did a celebratory dive (reunion dive) and drank a bottle of champagne in wheelhouse. Good times!!!

its an underwater zoo...everything to be seen in the keys can be seen here...with 100 ft vis and the shallowness of the reef...you can see all colors and it makes for some great photography...i suggest snorkeling first and then diving bc youre gonna wa...
