Thunderbolt
This 188-foot military ship is the jewel of the Marathon wreck fleet. Sunk intentionally as a dive attraction in March 1986, she now sits perfectly upright in 115 feet of water offering 45 feet of relief.

First dive since check-out. Hired instructor as buddy. Took about 20 min just to find the buoy. Low viz so not much to see that day but quite a rush being at 100' for my 1st dive. Saw large amberjack, smaller fish. Other couple saw goliath grouper.

Alot to look at. Easy enough for the kids to snorkle while Dad watches from 20' down.
