Half Moon Preserve
Half Moon was a 154-foot steel sailing yacht that was once a floating saloon during Prohibition. The ship sank during a storm in 1930 in just 10 feet of water. It is now an Underwater Archaeological Preserve.

Miami is one of the best wreck diving destinations in the World! Artificial reefs have been created by sinking ships, tugs, army tanks, an airplane, radio antennae, and more. These structures have quickly attracted sea life, making for some awesome dives.

This was a beautiful dive..... just stick to the inner bouy's and you'll be fine. If ur not sure where it lies in all the bouy's, look for a yellow bouy around the center..... the lions and compass are VERY interesting..... great 1st dive on your perso...

very grassy with little to no formations.. you are better off going out to erl king which is about 4 miles east of this location..
