Advance II
The Advance II lies about eight nautical miles out from the Oregon Inlet sea buoy. The 185-foot ship lies on a sandy bottom at 80 feet. This dive spot is a popular training and certification dive with Nags Head dive operators.

Dionysus
In 1978, the Dionysus was deployed as an artificial reef in AR-160 close to the Liberty Ship, Zane Grey. AR-160 lies four miles southeast from the Oregon Inlet sea buoy. Depths range from 40-80 feet.

Zane Grey
The Zane Grey is one of many Liberty Ships from World War II that have been deployed in artificial reef programs. The Zane Gray is in 40 to 60 feet with a maximum depth of 80 feet.

The beaches of the Outer Banks have soft white sand and spectacular sand dunes. Thanks to the Nags Head pirates and the modern artificial reef program, there are numerous shipwreck remains for divers to explore.
