Lots of tasty filets!
Good spearfishing dive. Diving with doubles would be recommended. I dove it with a single 120. Doubles would have made the dive alot more relaxing and enjoyable.

Advanced Divers Only
Dove this site several times many years back with Capt. Billy Deans of Key West Divers, Inc.. A difficult dive on a good day. A great warm up dive for the USS Wilkes Barre. DON'T do this wreck until you are well trained and supervised. It can easily kill you.

Beautiful, Upright, Intact, a great 'Shallow' Deco Dive
The Wreck is fantastic, sitting upright, she looks magestic and like she's steaming away. Tons of big fish including Jewfish, Tarpon, Cobia, Groupers, Hogfish, and tropicals. Magnificant schools of silversides are often under attack by Amberjacks and Tarpon while touring this great wreck.
At 180ft to the sand, most of the good stuff on the wreck lies in the 150-160 range. A great warmup dive for the Wilkes Barre or other deeper wrecks off key west, the USS Curb shouldn't be over looked by those qualified to dive her. Currents can be moderate to strong, and she lies just in the shipping channel so vis can change, but usually is quite good.
Key West Underwater Explorers runs out of Key West and does and excellent job, I think they're also known as Key West Tech Divers; either way great support and very helpful. Often times poor support can make a tech trip not worthing going on, so be sure you're out with someone who can help offer you the support you need.
