Great for snorkeling
We ended up here after the atlantic decided it was going to be too rough and prevent us from getting out on the ocean. We decided to dive the Gulf since it is generally more protected albeit lesser visibility.
The wreck is split in two and separated by some distance; we were only able to find the stern which was marked with a buoy and has one mooring ball. The coordinates on this site are close but about .5NM off (if they were pointing to the stern). I'll post updated coords when I can get into the GPS. The bow was neither at the posted coordinates nor at the location we discovered on the map marked "exposed wreck." I was even trolled along behind the boat for a bit in search.
As this wreck is only in about 25/30 feet of water and is so shallow as to break the surface during low tide, I'd recommend snorkeling over diving. There is plenty to see even if you lack the ability to free dive while free diving will allow you minor penetration and exploration. There were a lot of Angel Fish hanging out around the stern and a myriad of other species speckled about. Right after we dropped anchor, I jumped in, looked down, and there were several starfish below us!
I had tried to get out on this wreck years ago and the vis was so poor that I couldn't see my partner 2 feet away from me when we submerged. As always, be wary of the conditions before you venture out.
