The Gap

Starting at 50 feet and dropping down to 80 feet, The Gap is a beautiful spot for a wall dive. At this site, large coral heads that rise 10 to 15 feet can be seen on the ocean side. Sunshine fish and hamlets as well as other deep sea fish can be found here. Divers claim that coral and sponges seem larger at this location than at most others. The inside area of this dive is gradual while the outer edges provide abrupt drop-offs. This is an excellent sie for a ledge and/or drift dive.

The Gap is located four miles south-southeast of Key Colony Beach.
