Great first ocean dive
I did this dive on 4/26/08 along with The Nursery. I thought it was a great first dive. It was shallow & had good coral displays (fans, vases & tubes etc)& marine life. I enjoyed it.

Overall a Fun Novice Dive!
It's to bad the airforce used it for target practice. More of the ship would have been nice!

Great for the kids
My wife and I just dove here today. I liked the fact it is in shallow water, this will make it great to bring the kids to. We also spotted a large manta ray that swam by us, but we did not get a photo of it.

Great wreck dive for a Novice diver
This is a great wreck dive for a beginner diver being that it is very shallow. There is not a lot to see, but there are a good number of fish and the large anchor of the ship.

Great 1st dive to a wreck.
Although there was not much to see besides the anchor and the bottom hull of the ship, the dive did offer excitement as not only being my first dive, but also my first wreck. The location is easy to find and the water is not deep enough to make a novice diver uneasy.

Fun Dive
The anchor and the plaque are the two key things to look for on this dive. We found both. Like many have said already, not much of the wreck remains intact. The backbone sits on a ledge that you can easily follow. I saw the biggest French Angelfish I have ever seen at this site. HUGE!

Nice second dive -
Make sure you find the plaque with the historical information about the wreck. There is not much of the wreck in tact but it is a good dive site w/ some decent fish life.

Nice reef, not much of a wreck
We visited this site on July 31st, 2005 and we were a bit disappointed (but not overly surprised) that very little of the ship is left. There's an intact anchor on the sandy bottom and a nearby plaque marking the site as a State Underwater Archaeological Preserve. The site is a nice place to explore with lots of crevices, small ledges, and ship artifacts. The #4 mooring buoy is a good place to tie up. This is a good place to relax and explore after making deeper dives nearby. Great for kids and novice divers!
