Closest beach dive to you that I know about is off commercial blvd. from 95 take commercial all the way east to the pier the reef is 50 yards from the shore. there are 2-3 reef sections running n-s I usually go about 50-100 yards to the south of the pier. You can find coal here from a 1900 coal ship that sunk.

Take I-95 north to exit 76 (Blue Heron Blvd) Head east and as you go over the bridge there is a small park. The fishing pier is a great dive with tons of life. Catch it 30 minutes before High tide for best vis. I think it's called Phil Foster State Park.

The Blue Heron Bridge in West Palm Beach (actually Riviera Beach, AKA Phil Foster Park, has some of the best shore diving around. We usually head in about 1 hour before high tide (slack tide). Since it's only a 20' dive, but with MUCH sea life to observe, we can usually get an hour, hour and a half in before the waters get murky and viz gets bad on one tank of air.
