you need to get a book on Hatha yoga... most freediving is about relaxation..problem is, how do you dive to 90ft and relax at the same time? you need to do breathing exercises, use your solar plexus muscles and spend as much time in the water freediving as you can.. don't be enamored of people who say they dive to 110 ft and stay under for 2 minutes...this is dangerous stuff..you can read books on freediving but they won't teach you udiyana bhanda or asivini mudra..these are the things that start to change your thoraxic development see www.freedivingfilms.com

i dont freedive, but as i understand there it is a partial artform of slightly hyperventilating to super saturate the blood with o2. that extends the time out to the farthest theoretical possbile. but i think shallow water blackout is a danger.
