does this realy make much difference between dry and semi dry snorkles. if your basicaly floating at the air/water boundary anyways does it make sense to pay to upgrade to a dry snorkle. also any recomendations on the best brands, ive seen afew reviews but im suspicious that they are not slightly biased.

also ive noticed that if you compare a number of manufactures dry snorkles, they all look identical even down to the molding. just differnt color and trademarks. is this kinda like some major reel manufacturers that sell custom branded fishing reels that are nearly identical to their major lines. okcuma and shakespeare come to mind as examples. as i understand both gandermountain and cableslas (amoung others) are made by this company. im thinking these drys snorkles are the same way. perhaps the off brand is just as functional as higher priced one.
