	There is no buoy marking this site
Author: WetDawg Posted: 03-Aug-09 IP: Logged	As of August 1, 2009 there is no longer a buoy marking this spot. However it is about 250 yards due east of Nikki Beach and the 2nd St Lifeguard tower and a little southeast of the white buoy marking the boundary of the swimming area. We found it with a handheld Garmin eTrex GPS on the surface. I keep the GPS in a waterproof pelican box and clip it to my dive flag. In addition to the bar there is a small artifical reef made up of pyramid shaped concrete blocks. The bar is just off the northwest corner fo the reef. As for sea life we saw the usual South Florida suspects - lots of small reef fish.     Reply | Report to Moderator
