We have a 25' Walkaround that we take diving almost every weekend. We would like to meet another couple who is experienced in diving and managing a boat.

Our Home Port is Jupiter, but we travel widely and frecuently. Sebastian Inlet to Key West, Naples to Crystal River.

This is a great site. I think a nice feature would be to add a list of dive clubs by area. Dive clubs are a great way to meet new dive buddies. Since dive spots on this site are organized by area (e.g., Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, etc.), maybe add a list of clubs in those areas. Just a thought!

We are Jay & Toni (wife). Although she is my normal buddy on weekends (when we are both off). I am often off during weekdays with not much to do, and am looking for a buddy to go do some of the local (Boca Inlet - - Port Everglades) sites. We have a 25' Cruiser with nice platform for diving.

If you are a couple who'd like to go join us when off on weekends, that's perfect, just let us know.

We're both advanced and comfortable doing the deep end of the recreational dive spectrum 80 - 132'; have all our gear with 2 air 80's and 2 EON 32 steel 120's; both Nitrox certified.

Looking forward to meeting new people.

Jay

I don't know if you received my e-mail or not. My wife and I can handle a boat. My wife worked aboard Loggerhead 2 in Boynton Beach for several years. We live in Juno Beach, just south of Jupiter.

We dive on the Boca Chita out of Biscayne National Park quite a bit. (305-230-1100.) I also take my 21 footer with my instructor and kids to hit the wrecks in Biscayne National Park. All the sites are listed and downloadable on this site.

Wow, getting together is hard work. From my original post I have talked (emailed) several people. It is not always easy to get on the same schedule. Plus I am a little careful about putting people on the boat. So when I finally put everything together with someone I felt obligated to give some feedback.

Here goes: if you get a line from Dave (creativebs) you will have found an excellent dive partner. He joined us for a dive out of West Palm Beach around August 27th. Good credentials, helpful, courteous, informative, and above else, an excellent safe diver.

He and I had a discussion about the differences between his home turf in the south Miami area and the diving found near Palm Beach. He wins, his area is better, but he did admit that Palm Beach has good diving also.
